The Utah Hockey School is built for players who want more than a typical summer camp — it’s a full developmental experience designed to challenge, educate, and inspire. Hosted at Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, Utah, this weeklong school combines elite on-ice instruction, off-ice training, and mental preparation to help athletes elevate every aspect of their game.
Our mission is simple: to create a player-first development environment where athletes are pushed to grow while being supported by coaches who care about their journey. Every drill, seminar, and session is built with purpose — to teach transferable skills that make players more confident, dynamic, and game-ready.
Each athlete trains in a small-group, high-tempo setting that mirrors the pace and expectations of junior and collegiate hockey. With three hours of ice time daily, video breakdown sessions, and individualized feedback, players learn to think and perform faster. Our coaches emphasize habits, compete level, and situational awareness — the traits that separate good players from elite ones.
We’ve built an environment that balances intensity with connection. Players train hard, but they also build friendships and gain exposure to top-level coaching perspectives. From team meals and hotel accommodations to film sessions and off-ice work, everything is structured for players to stay focused, comfortable, and motivated throughout the week.
Our program features specialized training tracks designed to help each athlete focus on their greatest area of growth. Players are grouped by skill and position to ensure they’re challenged at the right pace. Current tracks include:
Each track is led by experienced coaches with backgrounds in the NCAA, USHL, NAHL, and professional hockey, ensuring athletes learn from the same minds who develop and scout at the next level.
Every aspect of the Utah Hockey School is driven by our core belief: development starts with putting the player first. Whether your goal is to make AAA, earn a junior camp invite, or prepare for college hockey, our staff meets you where you are — and gives you the tools to take the next step.
Our camp is held in the heart of Provo, Utah, surrounded by stunning mountain views that make every day memorable. Peaks Ice Arena, a 2002 Olympic venue, provides an ideal setting for serious training and a summer experience players never forget. The arena is also part of Utah’s ongoing Olympic legacy and is positioned to play a key role in future Winter Olympic events, giving players the chance to train in a facility with real history and future significance. Between the elite environment, the scenery, and the high-performance atmosphere, it’s a location unlike any other hockey school in the country.
