Cancelation and Refund Policy

At Steen Sports Systems, scheduling ice, coaches, facilities, staffing, travel, and training resources requires significant advance planning and financial commitment. By registering for any program, lesson, clinic, camp, academy session, or hockey school, you acknowledge and agree to the following cancellation policy.

All deposits and registration payments are non-refundable.

• Cancellations made more than 60 days before the start date may receive account credit only, at the sole discretion of Steen Sports Systems. 
• Cancellations made within 60 days of the event are non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• No refunds or credits will be issued for: 
  • Injury 
  • Illness 
  • Schedule conflicts 
  • Travel issues 
  • Weather delays 
  • Family emergencies 
  • Early departure 
  • Dismissal from camp 
  • Homesickness 
  • Failure to attend 

We strongly encourage families to purchase travel and/or medical insurance if desired.

All lesson, clinic, and training session sales are final.

• A minimum of 24 hours written notice is required to reschedule a private lesson. 
• Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. 
• No-shows are charged in full. 
• Steen Sports Systems reserves the right to deny rescheduling for repeated late cancellations. 

• No refunds will be issued after registration. 
• Missed sessions cannot be transferred, prorated, credited, or made up. 

All academy and long-term development program payments are contractually committed once accepted into the program.

• Monthly payments, tuition, and deposits are non-refundable. 
• Withdrawal from a program does not eliminate financial responsibility for remaining balances unless approved in writing by Steen Sports Systems. 
• Missed ice sessions, workouts, or training sessions are not eligible for refunds, credits, or makeups. 

Steen Sports Systems reserves the right to remove any participant, without refund, for:

• Dangerous behavior 
• Bullying or harassment 
• Repeated misconduct 
• Disrespect toward staff, players, hotels, facilities, or property 
• Violation of team or camp rules 

Steen Sports Systems reserves the right to:

• Adjust schedules 
• Modify coaches or instructors 
• Change training groups 
• Change facilities 
• Cancel or combine sessions if necessary 

Such changes do not qualify for refunds.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond Steen Sports Systems’ control, including but not limited to:

• Weather 
• Facility issues 
• Government restrictions 
• Pandemics 
• Travel disruptions 
• Power outages 
• Natural disasters 

By registering, you agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for services rendered or reserved under this policy.

Any unpaid balances, reversed charges, or disputed payments may result in:

• Removal from programs 
• Loss of future registration privileges 
• Collection efforts 
• Legal action 

By registering for any Steen Sports Systems program, lesson, clinic, camp, or hockey school, participants and parents/guardians acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to this cancellation and refund policy in full.
